2.1 How do I obtain agreements with my counterparties?

The basic steps to obtain agreements are:

* Download the partner profile from the registry
* Agree by phone with your counterparty - or -
* Use the encoded agreement provided to you

2.2 How do I get an encoded agreement?

If one of your partners has an agreement with you, he can export his agreements in the Messenger under Configuration-->Agreements-->Export. This works since version 2.3 of the Ponton Messenger. When you receive this file, you can import this agreement into your Messenger under: Configuration-->Agreements-->Import. This works also the other way around.

2.3 What have I exactly to agree upon in the agreement?

Check in the "Configuration and Installation Guide", chapter 6.2.3 for the advised settings. The agreements have to exactly match each other, otherwise no communication or erroneous communication occur.
