Ponton Consulting is an innovative, dynamic IT firm which specialized in the area of B2B (business-to-business) integration . This refers to services ranging from data exchange between complex, heterogeneous systems such as databases or ERP systems of different companies to data exchange within entire industries or supply chains. Over the years we have acquired a very unique knowledge in this special field. We apply this knowledge in an effective way to offer our clients solutions for more productive and lower-risk interaction with business partners which enables them to significantly improve their competitiveness. Our projects involving the areas of energy (EFETnet) and paper / publishing / printing (papiNet) are excellent examples of this.

As our primary standard for the secure and reliable exchange of data, we have chosen ebXML which allows us to carry out end-to-end integrations via the Internet that are superior to the “traditional” EDI approaches in many ways. To provide maximum flexibility for data exchange to our customers we are also supporting the AS1, AS2 and AS3 communication protocols.

With regards to the document format the Ponton X Technology supports the exchange of binary files without size limitation providing full flexibility here as well. Formats such as EDIFACT, ANSI X12 and various XML formats such as UBL are being recognized and can be processed based on their specific type.
